This 28"x 25" clay sculpted wall hanging is one of my favorite ways to work. I sculpt the image in clay, fire it in a kiln, then paint the relief with acrylic paint for a even more real feel. This guy is available too. He is $500, email me to purchase him.
This little furry friend guards the door to the lake, which is a mural I painted on a door for a patron. Their other tow cats are in thr distance as they are characteristically.
This mural is one in three panels. The patrons wanted a mural in their living room that would be as if they are looking out the window and seeing Mt. Hood. This is one window that is 12'x6'. The other two "windows" are the same length of 12' that go above the mountain. The ceiling is very tall and goes up to a point so the 2 top windows are triangles!!
Recently I was commissioned to reinvent a family heirloom, a 100 year old carousel horse. The family structurally restored it themselves. They did a wonderful job for this old guy, his name is Sergeant. I then painted him dapple grey and gave hima more real feel then his previous all cream color.
I love these fairies flying above the trees tethered to butterflyies, riding on a flower. This painting is another detail of the Encahnted Forest Mural I completed recently. All four walls were embellished. I think the Claire, the little girl who falls asleep every night looking at teh art, is enchanted with her bedroom!
